What is Camp Lionheart?

Camp Lionheart is a Summer Camp that combines the faith-building foundation of Vacation Bible School (VBS) with the creativity and curiosity of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).

 

Inspired by the courage and conviction of Daniel from the Bible, this camp empowers young children to be courageous disciples of Jesus Christ. Campers explore God’s world through bible reading, faith building activities, hands-on learning, storytelling, and fun.

Families can choose from two options:

 

VBS only option (9:00 am to Noon , free of charge)

 

or

 

VBS + STEM (9:00 am to 3:30 pm , $100)

Bible Topics Covered:

Day 1: Jesus is God's Promised Son

Day 2: Jesus is God's Perfect Son

Day 3: Jesus is the Powerful Son of God

Day 4: Jesus is the Proven Son of God

Day 5: Jesus is God's Plan for Forgiveness

Schedule:

9:00am- 9:45am Praise and Worship, Bible Message

9:45 am -11:15am Age group Bible discussions, Crafts/STEM Activity, and snack

11:15am - 11:45 am Outdoor Activity

11:45am - 12 noon High Praise and Dismissal!

 

Afternoon Schedule for Full-Day Students

12:30-1:00 pm Lunch

 

Ages 3-4

1:00pm-1:30pm Story Time

1:30 pm to 3:00 pm Rest Time and/or Quiet Activities

 

Ages 5+

1:00pm-1:30pm Independent or Assisted Bible Reading 

1:30 pm to 3:00 pm STEAM or Field Trip

 

All

3:00-3:30pm Closing

3:30pm Dismissal
