Academic Programs
"As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams." Daniel 1:17

At The Daniel Christian Academy, we partner with the Holy Spirit to create a loving, joy-filled, and honoring environment where students can thrive each and every day.

We teach from a Biblical worldview, and we celebrate our Creator’s unique design of each student, seeking to personalize education so students can discover and develop their gifts.
We understand that relationships are foundational to establishing a love of learning as teachers seek to know and understand their students’ passions and interests.
Acorn Studio
Our Acorn Studio is a place of joy and peace where children ages 3.5-6 years old feel at home while away from home.
Our small class size will allow students to receive individualized attention and move through the curriculum at their own pace to attain mastery.
The mornings are spent with a group circle time and bible lesson, followed by individualized math and language arts lessons and work. Full day students have lunch followed by a quiet/reading time. Afternoons are enriched with science and art as well as opportunities to follow-up on the morning's work.
Areas of Learning
Spiritual Life
The foundation of our academy is the word of God and it is a privilege to partner with parents in this regard. Students have a weekly extended chapel and daily bible and character lessons. Scripture memorization is encouraged, and students have multiple opportunities to engage in prayer throughout the day.
Mathematics
Children learn concepts of math through the manipulation of concrete materials that will lead them, at a later age, to think mathematically. Numeration followed by the concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and algebraic thinking will be introduced.
Practical Life
Practical life activities help to refine fine motor control, strengthen the child’s attention span, concentration and respect for themselves and the community. Examples of work in this area include food preparation, plant care, lessons in grace and etiquette and lessons in entrepreneurship beginning for 3rd year students.
Science and Geography
The Science curriculum includes the physical sciences, basic zoology classifications, and botany forms. Along with seasons, weather, and an introduction to simple experiments, the children gain a sense of scientific wonder. Children are often presented with maps and start to develop a sense of the world along with the continents and countries in it.
Language Arts
We utilize tactile materials to present lessons language arts. Students will have lots of repetition that leads to mastery of the language curriculum. These materials help students master letter sounds, handwriting, and eventually, reading, spelling, and writing.
